Monday, January 5: We spent the entire day getting up for meals then sleeping in between, because the Drake Passage, while still rather mild, was rocking the boat. Our first photo of the day was taken after hosting a pre-dinner round of champagne in our suite with Don, Noren, and Chuck.
Doesn't look so bad, does it? Trust us, walking was tricky and even the strongest among us were affected to some degree.
After dinner, we caught the sunset through our living room window. Note the ever-present GPS and binoculars on the window sill.

We passed what appeared to be a Crystal Cruises ship heading south as we headed north and we wished them as good a trip as we had enjoyed.
