Our spa garden was built in 2004. It is called the spa garden because it is located behind the spa room we added on to our home in 2002. Very few plants thrive here, most likely due to the hard clay soil and the shrews who tunnel underneath it. With the exception of lily-of-the-valley and trilliums at one end, and a madonna lily and tulips at the other end, this garden is now used mainly for annuals, including fruits and veggies.
